This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed invoking the jurisdiction of this Court under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 with the prayer to quash the entire criminal proceedings in connection with G. Case No. 296 of 2009, registered for the offence punishable under Section 16 (a) of the Prevention of Food Adulteration Act, 1954 including the order dated 25.03.2009, whereby and whereunder the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Hazaribagh has taken cognizance of the Offence punishable under Section 16 (a) of the Prevention of Food Adulteration Act, 1954.
