In Re:- An application for anticipatory bail under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 corresponding to Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 in connection with Lalgola PS Case No.736/2025 dated 19.08.2025 under Sections 85/117(2)/115(2)/109 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita 2023 and ¾ of D.P. Act.
And
In the matter of: Sabina Bibi … petitioner
Mr. Asim Kumar Chakraborti
…for the petitioner.
Mr. Imran Ali, Mr. Rajes Jana.
…for the State.
Heard the learned counsels for the parties. Perused the case diary. The prosecution case is that the distal part of the right index finger of the victim was amputated due to human bite, and the person responsible for the said act, is the present petitioner. Considering the above, the statements of the victim, the injury report and the other incriminating materials available in the case diary, I do not consider this to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail to the petitioner. The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. Urgent photostat certified copies of this order may be delivered to the learned Advocates for the parties, if applied for, upon compliance of all formalities.
