[2026:RJ-JP:20675] HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE FOR RAJASTHAN BENCH AT JAIPUR S.B. Criminal Miscellaneous Bail Application No. 7558/2026 Ramniwas Urad S/o Shri Tulsaram, Aged About 35 Years, R/o Jawa, Sisodiya, Tehsil Degana, District Nagaur. (At Present In Central Jail, Ajmer). ----Petitioner Versus State Of Rajasthan, Through Pp ----Respondent For Petitioner(s) : Mr. Shyam Bihari Gautam For Respondent(s) : Mr. Rajendra Singh Shekhawat, PP HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE PRAMIL KUMAR MATHUR Order 15/05/2026 1. The petitioner has filed this bail application under Section 483 of BNSS in FIR No.0251/2025 registered at Police Station Civil Lines, District Ajmer for offence under Sections 420, 467, 468 and 471 IPC. 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Public Prosecutor and perused the material available on record. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. He further submits that the petitioner is facing allegations in connection with preparation of a forged disability certificate, on the basis of which co-accused Arun Sharma was selected under the physically handicapped quota in the direct recruitment examination for the post of Stenographer, 2018. It is contended that there is no specific allegation against the present petitioner regarding preparation or forging of the alleged disability certificate. The only allegation against him is that he had accompanied co-accused Arun Sharma [2026:RJ-JP:20675] (2 of 2) [CRLMB-7558/2026] to the principal offender, namely Manish Choudhary @ Modu Ram, for the purpose of obtaining the disability certificate. Except this, no specific role has been assigned to the present petitioner. He further argued that the material available on record reflects that it was the principal offender, Manish Choudhary @ Modu Ram, along with Dilip Vaishnav, who allegedly prepared the forged documents by using fake seals. The petitioner is behind bars since 03.02.2026 without any criminal antecedents. Charge-sheet has already been filed. The trial of the case may take considerable time and no further custodial interrogation is required, hence the bail application of the petitioner may be allowed. 4. On the other hand, learned Public Prosecutor has vehemently opposed the bail application. 5. On consideration of the rival submissions and material available on record and in the light of submission made by learned counsel for the petitioner but without expressing any opinion on merits/demerits of the case, I am inclined to grant benefit of bail to the petitioner. 6. Consequently, the bail application under Section 483 B.N.S.S. is allowed and it is directed that the petitioner Ramniwas Urad S/o Shri Tulsaram, be released on bail provided he furnishes a personal bond in the sum of Rs.50,000/- with two sureties in the sum of Rs.25,000/- each to the satisfaction of the learned trial court with the stipulation that he shall appear before that Court on all subsequent dates of hearing till conclusion of the trial.
