Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today is taken on record. 2. In spite of service, none appears on behalf of the school authority. 3. The petitioner’s prayer seeking transfer was considered and allowed. The petitioner’s name was recommended in respect of a school but when the petitioner went to join the recommended school, he was informed that there was no vacancy. 4. The petitioner seeks a direction upon the West Bengal Central School Service Commission for recommending his name in some other school where there is a vacancy. His application seeking recommendation is pending consideration before the West Bengal Central School Service Commission. 5. The West Bengal Central School Service Commission is directed to recommend the name of the petitioner to any of the schools opted by the petitioner upon verifying the vacancy 2 status in such school. In the event there is no available vacancy, the petitioner will be entitled to submit a fresh list of preferred schools, which will be taken into account by the West Bengal Central School Service Commission to recommend the petitioner for transfer. 6. With the afore-stated directions, the writ petition is disposed of. 7. There shall be no order as to costs. 8.
