APP Mr. Arani Bhattacharyya … for the State Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioner Nos.1 and 2 were the principal accused. Out of twelve accused named in the FIR, seven have been charge- sheeted. One of them has passed away. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail, relies on the statements of the victim and the other witnesses and the injury report and submits that the injured had to stay in the hospital for ten days. He suffered injuries on different parts of the body, including fractures of the left elbow and left knee and there was a scalp haematoma. 2 Considering the above and the other incriminating materials available in the case diary, I do not consider this to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail. The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of requisite formalities.
