The present writ petition has been filed praying for the following reliefs:- “I. Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no. 1 and 2 to constitute a committee in the chairmanship of the Director Higher Education Government of Uttarakhand, and Additional Director Higher Education and other responsible office holder of the Government of Uttarakhand and complete the report and provide the benefit of CAS to the petitioner for the post of Associate Professor in the tune of the exercise made by the parent state of U.P. Department of Higher Education dated vide letter no. 14/2026/99/-5-2026-1951003 dated 31 March 2026, as early as possible (Contained as Annexure No.7,8,9. Page 76-85 to the writ petition) so far it relates to the petitioner. II. Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the directing respondents no.1 and 2 to take decision on the representation dated 27-03-2026 of the petitioner no.1 in the light of vide letter no. 14/2026/99/-5- 2026-1951003 dated 31 March 2026. (Contained as Annexure No.6 page no.71-75 to this writ petition.” 2. Learned State Counsel very fairly states that the representation filed by the petitioner would be decided. 3.
