PUBLIC PROSECUTOR 3 SS,J Crl.R.C.No.538 of 2009 The Court made the following Order: In pursuance to the directions of this Court, dated 08.07.2026, a report is placed on record by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Peddapuram. The report reveals as follows: “In the ref 2nd cited, the petitioner Sri Ganta Ramababu S/o. Nookaraju has given a statement stating that he is working as Ration shop dealer for shop No.0410009 of lampakalova village Prathipadu mandal and in 2008 his shop was inspected and 6A case was filed, the then Joint Collector, Erst While East Godavari District has issued orders “confiscation of 70% of the value of the seized stocks to the Government” latter he file a C.A.No.171/2008 before Principal Sessions Judge, Rajahmundry and orders are passed as “Joint Collector, Erst While East Godavari District orders are set aside to the extent of confiscating 70% of the stock seized and it is limited to the confiscation of 5.48qtls and 82 ltrs of kerosene oil” then he in 2009 he filed a Crl.R.C.No. /2009 before Hon’ble High Court of Andhra Pradesh. He further stated that in 2016 his 6A case was dismissed and reallotted his shop No.0410009 and from then onwards he is continues working as dealer for that shop and also stated that he has no other issue at present related to the FP shop No.0410009 and request to close the case. In view of the above circumstance, it is submitted that there are no pending issues at present relating to Fair Price Shop No.0410009 as the petitioner has been continuously working as the dealer of the said shop following the dismissal of the 6A case and he has given statement to closure of the matter and this is submitted for kind perusal and request to issue necessary orders in this matter.” 2. Taking note of the matter, it appears that the instant Criminal Revision has been filed against an order of the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Rajahmundry in Criminal Appeal No.171 of 2008. 4 SS,J Crl.R.C.No.538 of 2009 3. On perusal of the report, it appears that the matter of dispute has been settled between petitioner and the Department; the present petitioner is now continuing with his fair price shop bearing No.0410009. 4. Let the report filed by the Revenue Divisional Officer be taken on record. 5. As the matter has been settled, no further orders are required to be passed by this Court. 6. Accordingly, this Criminal Revision Case is dismissed as infructuous.
