Order No.
01.
ORDER 22.04.2026 Petitioner a transferred employee is knocking at the doors of Writ Court for assailing the Cuttack Central Administrative Tribunal’s order dated 10.04.2026, whereby his O.A. No.179 of 2026 has been negatived. In the said O.A. he had called in question the transfer order dated 16.03.2026, whereby he has been posted to Rairangpur. Counsel for the Petitioner, having effectively argued the matter for some time, now submits that his client be given liberty to make a representation against the transfer order in terms of extant guidelines Master Circular No.24, a copy whereof avails at Annexure-4.
2. Learned DSGI appearing for the OPs resisted the petition but very fairly agreed with the suggestion of this Court that in the event Petitioner makes the representation, it should meet its fate within a reasonable time, subject to the rider that Petitioner shall report for duty at the transferred place within 10 days. p. 2 With the above observations, Petition is disposed off keeping open all contentions to be taken care of by the Authority, who has to consider the representation to be made by the Petitioner within two weeks after reporting for duty at the transferred place. The
consideration shall be made and result of consideration shall be informed to the Petitioner within four weeks from the date the same is appropriately made. Web copy of order to be acted upon by all concerned.
