Rana, learned counsel for the applicant. By order dated 25.09.2024 passed in WP(C) 5541 of 2023, a coordinate bench had directed as under: “The learned counsel for the petitioner is permitted to file an additional affidavit to bring on record the copy of the zimma petition being zimma petition No. 237/2023 seeking custody of the bank account bearing SBI Bank A/C No. 30105261279 inasmuch as it is the contention of the petitioner that the learned Trial Court below did not entertain such application on the ground that there was no order of attachment of such account. In the mean time, the petitioner may also file necessary application for impleadment of the Investigating Officer of Dhemaji Police Station Case No. 543/2021 which was ended in a charge sheet being CS No. 49/2022 dated 08.03.2022. List this matter after the ensuing Puja vacation on a date to be fixed by the Registry.” Referring to the directions contained in the said order, this Interlocutory Application has been filed, seeking impleadment of (i) The State of Assam, represented by the Commissioner and Secretary to the Government of Assam, (ii) The Director General of Police, Assam, Ulubari, Guwahati, (iii) The Superintendent of Police, CID (HQ), Assam (iv) The Officer-in-Charge, Dhemaji Police Station, Assam as respondents in writ petition being WP(C) No.5541/2023. Considering the directions issued vide order dated 25.09.2024, the prayer made in this Interlocutory Application stands allowed. (i) The State of Assam, represented by the Commissioner and Secretary to the Page No.# 4/4 Government, Home Department, (ii) The Director General of Police, Assam (iii) The Superintendent of Police (iv) The Officer-in-Charge, Dhemaji Police Station, Assam are arrayed as party Respondents No. 4, 5, 6 and 7. In Writ Petition the applicant will file amended cause title before the Registry within one week from today. The matter stands allowed and disposed of.
