2. The present petition has been filed by the petitioners under Section 528 of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita with the following prayers :-
“I. Allow this petition under Section 528 of B.N.S.S. filed by the petitioner. II. Quash the impugned FIR dated 16.12.2025 bearing Crime No. 329/2025 registered at Police Station, Manipur, District-Surguja (C.G.) for the offence U/s 296, 351(3), 191(2), 191(3), 190, 115(2), 118(1), 331(8), 127(2) of Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita, 2023 and Section 3(2)(v-a) of Scheduled Caste & Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities), Act, 1989 (as added later on) (Annexure P/1) so far it relates to present petitioner. III. Grant any other relief, which may be deemed fit in given facts and circumstances of the case, in favour of petitioner.”

Mr. Goutam Khetapal, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present matter without any material evidence to substantiate the allegations against him. He further submits that the petitioner has not committed the alleged offence, and the dispute between the petitioner and the complainant has been amicably settled outside the Court, voluntarily and without any coercion, duress, or protest and the complainant no longer wishes to pursue the case or prosecute the petitioner. A copy of compromise entered into between the parties has been filed herein at page No. 32 of the instant petition.

Learned counsel, appearing for respondent No.2 / complainant does not dispute the said fact.
5. In view of the above, the Investigating Officer is directed to consider the compromise deed entered into between the parties and submit the police report accordingly.
