Perused the record. 2. Mr. V. Nitesh, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that, though the learned Trial Court allowed the application for renewal of the petitioner's passport, it imposed a rider that the petitioner shall not visit other countries for the purpose of renewing the passport. Aggrieved by the said condition, the petitioner has approached this Court by filing the present Criminal Petition. 3. Per contra, Mr.A.Sai Rohith, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, requested this Court to pass appropriate orders in the interest of justice. 4. The present Criminal Petition has been filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for brevity, ‘the BNSS’), seeking to set aside the order dated 29.04.2026 passed in Crl.M.P.No.604 of 2026 in C.C. No.1542 of 2025 on the file of the learned I Additional Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Proddatur, to the limited extent of the condition restraining the petitioner from visiting other countries. 5. It is evident from the record that the learned Trial Court permitted the petitioner to renew his passport. However, the rider imposed, namely, that the petitioner shall not visit other countries, is not warranted in the facts and circumstances of the case. 3 Dr.YLR,J Crl.P.No.6476 of 2026 Dated 30.07.2026 6. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the impugned order is modified. The petitioner is permitted to visit other countries, as and when required, by obtaining prior permission from the learned Trial Court in accordance with law. 7. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. As a sequel, Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed. _________________________ DR. Y.
