ORDER Date : 29-05-2026 Heard learned counsel Mr. D.A. Kaiyum for the applicant Azgor Ali, who has filed this application under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 with prayer for extension/modification of the order dated 08.05.2026 passed by this Court in AB/603/2026.

3. I have considered the submissions at the bar.
4. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the applicant that the applicant was directed to appear before the Investigating Officer within one week and he appeared before the Investigating Officer within the period of appearance as
directed by this Court, but as the applicant was not present before the Investigating Officer with a Bailor, the Investigating Officer asked the applicant to produce a Bailor.
5. It is submitted that the applicant could not arrange a Bailor and finally, when he could arrange a Bailor, the window of one week as provided by this Court for appearance before the arresting authority, had already expired. The applicant is willing to appear before the Investigating Officer and cooperate with the investigation and has prayed for extension of the order dated 08.05.2026 passed in AB/603/2026.
6. Considering the submissions at the bar and considering the entire aspect of the matter and to secure the ends of justice, the applicant is directed to appear before the Investigating Officer within one week from the date of this
order and comply with the directions of this Court vide order dated 08.05.2026 passed in connection with AB/603/2026.
7. In terms of the above observation, this interlocutory application stands
disposed of. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
