Jyotsna Rewal Dua, Judge Petitioner has preferred this writ petition against an order passed by the Deputy Commissioner, Una, H.P. on 30.01.2026, rejecting his application for impleadment moved in an appeal preferred by respondent No.3 under Section 148 of the Himachal Pradesh Panchayati Raj Act, 1994. Petitioner has statutory remedy available to him under Rule 143 of the Himachal Pradesh Panchayati Raj Rules, 1997 against the impugned order. 1 Whether reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment? Yes - 2 - 2. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner sought permission to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty to avail appropriate remedy in accordance with law.
