JUDGMENT : (per Mr. Manoj Kumar Gupta, C. J.)

The present writ petition has been filed for the following reliefs:-
“i. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to pay the salary for the month of June 2017 i.e. from 24.06.2017 to 30.06.2017. ii. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to pay interest @ 12% on the delayed payment of retirement dues i.e. gratuity, salary, leave encashment, group insurance and other retirement benefits after 8 years of retirement.”

The case of the petitioner is that he has not been paid seven days’ salary and interest on the delayed payment of the retiral benefits.

In view of the nature of claim, we dispose of the instant writ petition with liberty to the petitioner to make fresh representation in this regard along with copy of the instant
order before respondent no.3. In the event any such representation is made, the same shall be decided by the Competent Authority within six weeks. In case, any amount is found to be due and payable, the same shall be paid to the petitioner within next four weeks.

Pending applications, if any, stand disposed of accordingly.
