Present applicant Digvijay Singh, S/o Rampal Sharma praying for bail in relation to FIR dated 09.10.2024, bearing FIR No. 0638 of 2024 at P.S. Patel Nagar, District Dehradun, wherein the present applicant along with one Ms. Bala have been implicated for the offences punishable offences 143(3) and 143 (5) of BNS 2023. 4. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is languishing in jail since 19.10.2024 and the trial has already been commenced and in all the three previous cases he has already been enlarged on bail and in this particular case the co- accused Ms. Bala have already been enlarged on bail. 5. On the other side, Mr. Pradeep Lohani, learned AGA for the State have not disputed this fact the applicant is languishing in jail since 19.10.2024 and the other co-accused Ms. Bala have already been enlarged on bail and the trial has already been commenced. 6. After hearing the arguments of the learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration that the applicant is languishing in jail since 19.10.2024 and the trial has already been commenced and the other co-accused Ms. Bala have already been enlarged on bail, this Court is of the view that the present applicant deserves for bail. 7. Accordingly, without expressing any 2026:UHC:4735 opinion on the merit of the case, the bail application is allowed. 8. Let the applicant “Digvijay Singh” be released on bail on her executing a personal bond and furnishing two reliable sureties of the like amount to the satisfaction of the court concerned. 9. It is made clear that after being released on bail the applicant shall join trial court proceeding on each and every date without seeking unnecessary adjournment.
