Earlier, a writ petition had been filed by the petitioners being W.P.(C) 12814/2023, which was disposed of vide order dated 27th September, 2023. The operative part of the said order is set out below: 3. It is the case of the petitioners that no order has been passed on the representation of the petitioners till date. 4. Another writ petition being W.P.(C) 2599/2026, titled “Akhilesh Kumar Dixit v. Delhi Development Authority & Ors.” came to be filed before this Court, which was disposed of by the Division Bench of this Court vide order dated 25th February, 2026. The concern of the petitioners is that the respondents shall proceed with the road widening exercise in terms of the aforesaid order of the Division Bench, without considering the representations of the petitioners. 6. The concern of the petitioners has been taken care of in paragraph no. 7 of the order dated 25th February, 2026 set out above, that action with regard to the removal of encroachments/ unauthorized constructions shall be carried out strictly in accordance with law, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the alleged encroachers. 7. In view thereof, the present writ petition is disposed of while directing that the respondents shall not take any removal/ demolition action, without deciding the representations of the petitioners in terms of the order passed on 27th September, 2023 in W.P.(C) 12814/2023. 8.
