Mr. Narayan Dutt, learned Standing Counsel for the State of Uttarakhand/respondent No.1. Mr. Pankaj Miglani, learned counsel for respondent No.2-Commission, through V.C. Hon’ble Pankaj Purohit, J. (Oral) Petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking mandamus directing respondent-Commission to modify and re-issue the result of the Uttarakhand Combined State Junior Engineer Service Examination-2023 dated 10.07.2024, for the post of Junior Engineer (Civil), Drinking Water and Sanitation Department, Drinking Water Corporation (Annexure No.4 to the writ petition), qua the petitioner, by correcting the incorrect answers reflected in the answer key, on account of which the petitioner has been wrongly declared unsuccessful for the post of Junior Engineer. 2. It is contended by learned counsel for respondent No.2-Commission that advertisement for the said post was issued by respondent No.2- Commission on 14.10.2023 and the recommendation has already been made on 23.07.2024. 2026:UHC:4855 2 3. Since, petitioner has come to this Court after a long gap i.e. after a lapse of almost two years, therefore, this Court is not inclined to entertain the writ petition exercising its discretionary jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. 4.
