Petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs. “10.1 That this Hon'ble court may kindly be pleased to issue a writ of Mandamus (or any other appropriate writ or direction) directing Respondent No. 1 and Respondent No. 2 to consider and pass a compassionate appointment order in favour of the petitioner, Dakshina Nagesh, in accordance with the applicable rules and the statutory provisions governing compassionate appointments, and to do so within a specified period (preferably 30 days from the date of this order); PAWAN KUMAR JHA Digitally signed by PAWAN KUMAR JHA 2 / 2 10.2 That the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to grant such other and further relief as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case and in the interests of justice. 2. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that at this stage he is not pressing this writ petition on merit and only seeking direction to Respondent No. 2 to consider and take decision on representation of petitioner dated 22.12.2025 for grant of compassionate appointment, at the earliest within specified time frame. 3. Learned counsel for the State as also counsel for Respondent No. 2 do not oppose the limited prayer made by learned counsel for petitioner. 4. On due consideration of submission made by learned counsel for respective parties, without observing anything on merits of the case, this writ petition at this stage is dispose of directing Respondent No. 2 to consider and take decision on the representation submitted by petitioner dated 22.12.2025, in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a further period of 03 months from the date of receipt of copy of order passed by this Court. 5.
