GP FOR FINANCE PLANNING 3 The Court made the following order: Heard Sri Mangena Sree Rama Rao, learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Government Pleader for Social Welfare appearing for the respondent No.1 and Sri Chejarla Venkateswara Rao, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent No.2. 2. The present Writ Petition is filed challenging the action of the respondents in not paying the scholarship amount under the A.P. State Kapu Welfare and Development Corporation Videsi Vidya Deevena Scheme, to the petitioners', despite their selection under the Videsi Vidya Deevena Scheme, Phase-I (2019-20) and completion of their respective courses. 3. The 2nd respondent filed counter-affidavit stating that the petitioners are eligible for financial assistance under the Videshi Vidya Deevena Scheme. Since the budget for clearance of the pending dues is yet to be sanctioned, the amount would be credited to the petitioners as soon as the budget is released by the Government. 4. Having regard to the same, as the sum of financial assistance is admitted as payable to the petitioners’, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition directing the respondents to remit the admitted amount to the petitioners’, within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of copy of the order. 5. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
