JUDGMENT: (per Manoj Kumar Gupta, C.J.)

The appellants have filed the present appeal along with Application for Leave to Appeal against the
Judgment and order dated 22.05.2026 in WPSS No. 1241 of 2026, whereby a direction has been issued to the District Magistrate to undertake the exercise for promotion of Collection Amin to the post of Revenue Inspector, in case, more than two vacancies were available under the quota posts.

The case of the appellants is that they were appointed against substantive vacancies on compassionate ground on 27.11.2007 and they had filed various writ petitions challenging the Government Orders, whereby the benefit of regularization was 1

09.11.2000. Therein, interim order was granted in favour of the appellants staying the Government Orders. It is submitted that the writ petitioner has succeeded in obtaining the order from the learned Single Judge without disclosing these facts.

Mr. T.A. Khan, learned Senior Counsel for the appellants after making submissions at some length, prays for withdrawal of the appeal with liberty to the appellants to file application for recall of the order of learned Single Judge.

Having regard to the same, the Special Appeal stands disposed of as withdrawn with liberty to the appellants to file the Recall Application.

disposed of.
