JUSTICE BIPIN GUPTA Judgment / Order 17/03/2026 1. The present writ petition has been filed challenging the order dated 03.09.2025, passed by the learned Senior Civil Judge, Karauli, whereby the document dated 04.10.2004, being an agreement to sell, has been impounded and sent to the competent authority for the purpose of determination and payment of appropriate stamp duty. [2026:RJ-JP:11207] (2 of 2) [CW-4329/2026] 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is an apprehension that the concerned authority may levy stamp duty as per the rates prevailing on the present date, instead of those applicable on the date of execution of the agreement. 3. This Court finds that the apprehension expressed by the petitioner is premature; therefore, no ground is made out to interfere with the impugned order dated 03.09.2025. 4. However, the petitioner shall be at liberty to challenge any order passed by the competent authority before the appropriate forum, in accordance with law. 5. With the above observations, the present writ petition stands disposed of. 6. All pending application stand disposed of. (BIPIN GUPTA),J KRATIKA /14
