Ms. Subhasree Patel Ms. Sima Biswas. …for the State. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was arrested on 24.07.2025 and since then he is in custody. Earlier, there was a direction in CRM(M)2747 of 2025 granting liberty to the petitioner to approach this Court after the evidence of one Ranjit Bhowmick is over. Learned advocate for the petitioner has referred to the evidence of Ranjit Bhowmick who has been declared hostile. Learned advocate also submits that similarly placed accused person has been granted bail in connection with CRM(M)2667 of 2025. Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail. Having considered that there has been change of circumstances with progress of the evidence of the case, without 2 entering into the merits of the case, I am of the opinion that the petitioner may be released on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is allowed. The petitioner, namely, Debashish Burman alias Deba shall be released on bail upon furnishing bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand only) with two sureties of Rs.10,000/- each, one of whom must be local to the satisfaction of the learned ACJM, Nabadwip, Nadia. If on bail, the petitioner shall be physically present on each and every date fixed before the learned trial court and shall not leave the district of Nadia till further orders of this Court. Accordingly, CRM(M) 462 of 2026 is allowed. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
