( 2026:JHHC:11342 ) IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI B.A. No. 3210 of 2026 ------ Guddu Yadav, aged about 35 years, Son of Late Saldeo Yadav, Resident of Village –Choudharydih, P.O. & P.S. – Lodipur, District –Bhagalpur, Bihar. … Petitioner Versus The State of Jharkhand … Opposite Party ------ CORAM: HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR CHOUDHARY ------ For the Petitioner : Mr. Kamdeo Pandey, Advocate For the State : Mr. Sunil Kr. Dubey, Addl. P.P. ------ Order No.02 Dated- 18.04.2026 Heard the parties. The petitioner has moved this Court for grant of bail in connection with Godda (T) P.S. Case No.190 of 2024 corresponding to G.R. No. 443 of 2025 registered for the offences punishable under sections 331(4) & 305 of the B.N.S., 2023. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this is the second journey of the petitioner with the prayer for regular bail and earlier the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 29.08.2025 in B.A. No. 7430 of 2025. It is next submitted that the fresh ground is that in the meanwhile, the petitioner has remained in custody for some more time. Hence, it is submitted that the petitioner be admitted to bail. The learned Addl. P.P. on the other hand vehemently opposes the prayer for bail and submits that keeping in view the fact that the prayer for bail of the petitioner has already been rejected on merit, the mere fact that he has remained in custody for some more time is not a sufficient ground to review the earlier order by which the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner was rejected. Hence, it is submitted that the petitioner ought not to be admitted to bail. Considering the serious nature of allegation against the petitioner and the fact that his prayer for bail has already been rejected on merit, this Court is not inclined to admit the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for regular bail of the above-named petitioner is rejected for the same reasons as mentioned in the order dated 29.08.2025 in B.A. No. 7430 of 2025.
