The present application is filed seeking transfer of Marriage Petition No.1777 of 2026 from the Court of learned Civil Judge, Senior Division, Pimpri Chinchwad to learned Family Court at Jalgaon. 2. The parties are blessed with twins, who are presently 9 years old. It is not in dispute that custody of the children is with the applicant – wife. The distance between Jalgaon and Pimpri Chinchwad is around 450 km. It will therefore not be convenient for the wife to travel from Jalgaon to Pimpri Chinchwad to attend the Court proceedings at the said place. More importantly, it will be difficult for her to travel along with the minor children or leave them behind for attending the Court case at Pimpri Chinchwad. 3. Transfer application is therefore allowed by directing transfer of Marriage Petition No.1777 of 2026 from the Court of the learned Civil Kiran Kawre 2 929-MCA-178-2026.odt Judge, Senor Division, Pimpri Chinchwad to learned Family Court at Jalgaon. It will be open for either party to apply for consolidation of Marriage Petition No.1777 of 2026 with Petition E-No.47 of 2026. 4. The learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Jalgaon is requested to assign both the cases to the same Court. 5. In the event the respondent - husband makes an application for appearance through video-conferencing, the same may be considered favorably and permission to appear through video-conferencing may be granted on such dates and at such stages as is deemed appropriate by the learned Family Court at Jalgaon.
