Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the respondent nos. 1 & 2. Sri Pradeep Singh has accepted notice on behalf of respondent no. 11. 2. The present petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondent no. 2 to decide the Second Appeal No. 2356 of 2024, Computerized Case No. AL20241667002356 (Rama Shankar and others Vs. Ijhaar Ahmad and others) ,under Section 331 of U.P. Z.A. & L.R. Act, pending before it since 5.6.2024. 3. It is contended by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the aforesaid second appeal was admitted by the order of the respondent no. 2 dated 23.3.2026 and substantial question of law has been framed. It is contended that about six months have elapsed, but the final hearing of the second appeal is being adjourned for no justifiable reasons. It is further contended that all the contesting respondents have already put in appearance in the second appeal, therefore, there is no impediment in deciding the appeal finally. It is submitted that in view of the provisions of Rule 183(4) of the U.P. Revenue Code Rules, 2016, the second appeal was liable to be decided within six months from the date of its filing. Submission is that this Hon'ble Court may fix time frame directing the respondent no. 2 to decide the second appeal, expeditiously. 4. In view of the aforesaid facts, this writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the respondent no. 2 to decide the aforementioned second Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Mayank Shekhar Singh, Suresh Bahadur Singh Counsel for Respondent(s) : C.S.C., Pradeep Singh Saif Ahmad .....Petitioner(s) State Of U.P. And 10 Others .....Respondent(s) appeal, in accordance with law, within a period of six months, from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order.
