This Writ Petition is filed seeking to declare the action of the 2nd respondent in not considering the representations dated 11.12.2025 and 19.02.2026 submitted by the petitioner for her promotion to the post of Office Superintendent, in a clear vacancy in the office of the 3rd respondent, as illegal and arbitrary, particularly when the 3rd respondent has already recommended and forwarded the petitioner’s case vide Rc.No.341/E2/DM & HO/TPT/2026, dated 20.02.2026. 2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for the respondents. 3. The grievance of the petitioner is that her case was initially considered for promotion to the post of Office Superintendent vide proceedings dated 27.11.2025, and she was posted to the Government General Hospital, Nandyal. However, due to personal difficulties, the petitioner requested for consideration against certain other vacancies. Accordingly, the respondents considered the matter and posted one Sri T.D.H. Ajay Babu to the said post at Government General Hospital, Nandyal. It is further submitted that, subsequently, when a vacancy arose in the office of the 3rd respondent, the petitioner submitted a request seeking promotion to the said post. The 3rd respondent, having considered the same, recommended the petitioner’s case and forwarded it to the 2nd respondent vide letter dated 20.02.2026. It is further submitted that there exists a clear vacancy in the office of the 3rd respondent and that she is eligible and entitled to be considered for promotion to the post of Office Superintendent in the said vacancy. However, the 2nd respondent, for reasons best known, has not considered her case for promotion. Hence, the present writ petition. 4. Considering the submissions made, and without going into the merits of the case, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the respondents, more particularly the 2nd respondent, to consider the request made by the petitioner, along with the recommendation forwarded by the 3rd respondent vide letter dated 20.02.2026, and to take appropriate action, in accordance with law, within a period of two (02) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
