JUSTICE ANAND SHARMA Order 06/03/2026 1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is holding the post of Lecturer in Mahatma Gandhi Govt. School, Ward No. 10, Laxmangarh, Sikar. and his wife is holding the post of Lecturer at Govt. Sr. Secondary School, Rashidpura Khudi, Sikar and is posted at Shivsinghpura, Sikar. The petitioner has been transferred vide order dated 10.01.2026 from Sikar to Bikaner. Learned counsel submits that since, both the spouses are Government servants under the same Department therefore, they ought to have been posted, so far as possible in the same district. [2026:RJ-JP:9601] (2 of 2) [CW-3869/2026] 2. Mr. Vishal Kumar on behalf of Mr. Manoj Sharma, AAG appears and accepts notices as learned counsel for the respondents. 3. In the light of above, this Court deems it just and proper to dispose of this writ petition by granting liberty to the petitioner to make a representation by expressing his willingness to remain posted in the same district, without pointing out choice of a particular district, along with his wife. The Director, Secondary Education shall consider the grievance of the petitioner and shall pass appropriate order to keep both husband and wife in the same district. Such consideration shall be made within a period of six weeks from the date of submitting representation along with certified copy of this order. 4.
