2. The petitioner accused is before the court seeking expeditious disposal of the proceeding before the concerned court. The petitioner has produced the order sheet maintained before the concerned court which demonstrates that the court was going on adjourning the matter without any reason and therefore the proceedings are now pending for the last 7 years. 3.
In the light of the said prayer and the prayer being innocuous and the offence has been the once punishable under Sections 506(B), 406, 420, 504 of IPC. The concerned court shall endeavour to conclude the proceedings within the outer limit of 6 months from the date of receipt of certified copy of the Order, if not earlier.
