By way of the instant First Appeal (MAT), the appellant has challenged the judgment and decree dated 12.02.2024 passed by the learned First Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Raipur, District Raipur in H.M.A. Case No. 1062/2023. During the pendency of the present appeal, the matter was referred to the Mediation Centre of this Court, where the parties have amicably resolved their dispute and the mediation proceedings have been successful. 3. In terms of the settlement arrived at between the parties, a full and final settlement has been effected. The respondent has handed over a sum of Rs. 18,00,000/- (Rupees Eighteen Lakhs only) to the appellant by way of Demand Draft No. 716084 dated 09.04.2026, payable at SBI, P.B.B. Branch, Gajipur (Bihar), along with gold and silver ornaments as per the agreed list. 4. Learned counsel for the appellant would submit that, in view of the amicable settlement of the inter se disputes between the parties, the appellant does not wish to continue with the present appeal any further and seek permission to withdraw the appeal. 5. Learned counsel for the respondent has no objection to the withdrawal of the appeal. Accordingly, the First Appeal is dismissed as withdrawn in terms of the settlement arrived at between the parties. 6. Let a decree be drawn up in accordance with the terms of the settlement.
