Pursuant to the order dated 7th April, 2026, matter is taken up today for consideration in presence of the learned advocates for the petitioner and the State respondents. 2. Mr. Galib, learned advocate representing the State respondents has placed before this Court a writing dated 7th April, 2026 of Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime), Kolkata enclosing documents and the same are taken on record. Copy of the said writing dated 7th April, 2026 along with enclosures Page 2 are made over to the learned advocate representing the petitioner. 3. It is disclosed in the writing dated 7th April, 2026 of Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime), Kolkata that one criminal prosecution being Entally Police Station Case No.39 dated 6th February, 2023 is pending against the petitioner in connection with the jurisdiction under Kolkata Police. 4. In view of the disclosure of pendency of criminal proceedings against the petitioner vide memo dated 7th April, 2026 issued by Deputy Inspector General of Police, Legal West Bengal and writing dated 7th April, 2026 of Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime), Kolkata, grievance of the petitioner is redressed. 5. Accordingly, the instant writ petition stands disposed of. 6. Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
