Affidavit of service, as filed be kept with the record. 2. In spite of service, none appears on behalf of the school authorities. 3. The petitioner's application for transfer on distance ground is pending consideration at the end of the District Inspector of Schools (S.E.) Malda. 4. I direct the District Inspector of Schools to take necessary steps to consider the application for transfer made by the petitioner in accordance with law at the earliest but positively within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order. 5. The issue of Single Teacher will not be considered to be an impediment to allow the transfer application of the petitioner. 6. The fate of the petitioner's application shall be made known to the petitioner immediately thereafter. 7. The suspension of 'Utsashree Portal' will not be an impediment for the concerned authority to consider the application for transfer of the petitioner. The same shall be considered in an offline mode. 8. With the afore-stated direction, the writ-petition is P a g e | 2 disposed of. No order as to costs. 9.
