It is the contention of the petitioner that he has filed application in Form No.53 on 10.12.1998 seeking regularisation of unauthorised occupation of an extent of 2.08 acres of land in Survey No.94 of Mugabala Village, Jadigenahalli Hobli, Hoskote Taluk, and the same has not been considered till

HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:13121 WP No. 7256 of 2026 date and no order has been passed. Therefore, the prayer in the petition is to direct the respondents to consider the application filed in Form No.53 by the petitioner in the year
1998. 3. Having regard to the contentions raised in the writ petition and submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court is of the considered opinion that respondent No.2-Tahsildar was duty bound to place the application filed by the petitioner before the 3rd respondent- Committee and the Committee was also duty bound to consider the application and pass necessary orders. 4.
The writ petition stands disposed of with a specific direction to respondent No.2-Tahsildar, Hoskote Taluk, to verify from the records as to whether such an application filed by the petitioner seeking regularisation of unauthorized occupation of land at Annexure-A dated 10.12.1998 is pending consideration. If it is found that such application was indeed filed by the petitioner and the application is yet to be considered, the Tahsildar is directed to place before the Committee for regularisation of unauthorised occupation, the application along

Thereafter, the Committee shall consider the application and pass necessary orders in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
