At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present petition has been filed under Section 528 of the BNSS, 2023. He also submits that the petitioner has been facing trial since 30.05.2023 for the offences punishable under Sections 294, 506 Part-II and 323 of the IPC. He would further submit that after framing of said charges on 20.11.2024, no prosecution witness has been examined so far. 2.
