The affidavit of service filed today is taken on record. 2. The petitioner has been working since 2012 as a Group-D employee and has acquired sufficient experience. He has now participated in the 2nd State Level Selection Test, 2025 (SLST) and is aggrieved that his prior experience working in the Group-D post has not been considered while engaging/recommending him/considering him for the post of Assistant Teacher in a school. 3. It appears from the result that the petitioner has been unable to obtain requisite marks and the question of considering his prior experience as a Group-D employee while considering him for a post 2 of Assistant Teacher is beyond comprehension. 4. The prior experience has an inbuilt rider that the experience has to be in the same field of work. Prior experience as a Group-D employee can under no circumstances be considered for granting any marks to a candidate for the post of Assistant Teacher, in the column of “Prior Experience”. 5. In the circumstances afore-stated, the writ petition is nothing but a chance taken by the petitioner and is, accordingly, dismissed. 6. There shall, however, be no order as to costs. 7.
