2. By way of this petition the petition, the petitioner has assailed his transfer order dated 16.03.2026 (Annexure P-1), in terms whereof, he stands transferred from his present place of posting. It is not in dispute that the petitioner has completed almost four years of stay at his present place of posting. His contention is that the place to which he has been transferred is not convenient to him because his daughter is suffering from a life threatening disease and in case the impugned transfer order is given effect to, he will not be in a position to look after his daughter.
3. Taking into consideration the fact that the petitioner has already served at the said station since the month of May, 2022, this petition is disposed of with the direction that let the petitioner approach the Authority concerned for his adjustment at some other station within one week from today and let an appropriate call be 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment?
2 2026:HHC:8240 taken on the representation sympathetically by the Authority taking into consideration the health condition of the daughter of the petitioner. Needful be done within three weeks as from the date of receipt of the representation. Till then, the petitioner shall not be forced to join the station to which he stands transferred and he can avail the kind of leave due to him. Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any also stand disposed of accordingly.
