By way of this petition, the petitioner is seeking the following reliefs : 10.1 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to allow the writ petition and may further be pleased to direct the respondent no consider the representation of the petitioner (Annexure P/1) 10.2 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to Direct the Respondents to give due preference and fair consideration to the Petitioner Society cooperative of local fishermen; 10.3 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to, grant any other relief(s) deemed fit and proper in the interest of justice and equity. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the Petitioner is a Registered Society involved in fishing operations. He submits that the Society filed an application for allotment of a pond lease on 2.8.2025 (Annexure P/1), which is pending consideration before the concerned authorities. Since the said application has not been decided till date, the petitioner has filed this petition seeking a direction to the respondent authorities to decide the same. 3. Heard learned counsel for the parties and also perused the documents annexed with the petition carefully. 4. Considering the aforesaid aspects of the matter, without entering 3 into the merits of the case, the concerned authority (Respondent No.5- Sarpanch, Gram Panchayat, Guma, Janpad Panchayat Arang, District Raipur (CG)) is directed to decide the said application in accordance with law. The said authority shall afford a due opportunity of hearing to petitioner and thereafter, pass an order expeditiously, preferably within a period of 45 days from the date receipt of a copy of this order. 5.
