Petitioner took term loan of `93 crore from a consortium of Indian Bank and Canara Bank, however, the entire loan was thereafter taken over by Indian Bank. 4. In this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following reliefs:- “1. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Certiorari quashing and setting aside the impugned communication/action dated 25.05.2026 issued by the respondent bank allotting and initiating a fresh forensic audit qua the petitioner company and its sister/group concerns through Respondent No. 3, M/s AAR & Co., together with all consequential proceedings emanating; {In Ref: Annex: 1 (Colly.) @ Pg no. 32 to36) 2. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus restraining the respondents from proceeding further pursuant to the impugned forensic audit initiated vide communication dated 25.05.2026 and from taking any consequential steps in furtherance thereof; {In Ref: Annex: 1 (Colly.) @ Pg no. 32 to 36 ).” 5. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that there is no reason for the Indian Bank to initiate Forensic Audit qua the petitioner company and its sister group concerns. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that steps taken by the bank is contrary to the 2026:UHC:4630 master circular dated 15.07.2024. 6. Mr. Ajay Singh Bisht, learned counsel appearing for the bank submits that the bank will proceed strictly as per the master circular and there will be no deviation from the provisions contained in the master circular. 7. This Court is not inclined to interfere with the Forensic Audit undertaken by the bank. However, it is made clear that the bank will abide by the provisions of the master circular dated 15.07.2024. 8. The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly.
