Heard Mr. P. J. Saikia, the learned counsel for the applicant.
2. By this application, the applicant has prayed for impleadment of the new incumbents, namely, Mr. Narayan Konwar, who had jointed in the post of Commissioner, Govt. of Assam, Higher Education Department as respondent no. 5, Sri Dhrubajyoti Borah, The Director of Technical Education, Assam, as respondent no. 6 and Mr. Rupam Baruah, The Principal, Jorhat Engineering College, as respondent no. 7 and Mr. Jayanta Narlikar, The Commissioner & Secretary, Govt. of Assam, (Finance) Department as respondent no. 8.
3. The learned counsel for the applicant submits that all the other 4 respondents, i.e. respondent nos. 1 to 4 had retired or transferred.
4. As such, the impealding application is allowed.
5. The petitioner to file the amended Cause Title, amending the same in the contempt petition, being Contempt Case No. 347/2020.
6. This interlocutory application is accordingly disposed of. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
