Mr. G.D. Joshi, learned counsel for the petitioner. 2. Mr. S.K. Nailwal, learned Standing Counsel for the State of Uttarakhand. 3. Ms. Nishant Intezar, learned counsel for the respondent-Uttarakhand Waqf Board. 4. Petitioner claims to be Mutawali of a Waqf, which is registered with Uttarakhand Waqf Board. By means of this writ petition, he has sought the following reliefs:- (i) Issue a writ, order of direction in the nature of certiorari for quashing the impugned order dated 18th August, 2017 passed by the respondent no. 2 and Show Cause Notice dated 10th September 2018 issued by the private respondent (respondent no. 3). (ii) Issue, Writ, Order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent no. 1 & 2 to appoint full time Chief Executive Officer of Uttarakhand Waqf Board according to law. 5. Ms. Nishant Intezar, learned counsel for Uttarakhand Waqf Board submits that a new Managing Committee of Waqf No. 384, 385 & 386 has been constituted on 10.02.2026. Thus, she submits that writ petition has become infructuous. The order dated 10.02.2026 produced by Ms. Nishant Intezar is taken on record. 6. This Court finds substance in the submission made by learned counsel for Uttarakhand Waqf Board. Since the new 2026:UHC:4651 Managing Committee has been constituted, therefore, the relief, as claimed by the petitioner in this writ petition, do not survive. 8. Even otherwise also, petitioner has challenged the show cause notice against which he has a remedy of filing reply and thereafter he has a remedy of filing appeal, if the case is decided against him. 9. For the aforesaid reasons, there is no scope of interference. Accordingly, the writ petition fails and is dismissed.
