GP FOR PANCHAYAT RAJ RURAL DEV The Court made the following: SRK, J W.P.No.17019 of 2026 3 O R D E R This Writ Petition is filed seeking the following relief: “….to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the inaction of the respondents in extending the lease period pursuant to the representations submitted by the petitioner Society in terms of G.O.Ms.No.343 Panchayat Raj Department dated 10.04.1978 in respect of fishery rights over Ramanna Panta Cheruvu situated in R.S.No.50/1 of Nawabpeta Village, Penuganchiprolu Mandal, NTR District, as illegal, arbitrary and violative of G.O.Ms.No.343 Panchayat Raj Department dated 10.04.1978 and violative of Articles 14, 19 and 21 of the Constitution of India, and consequently direct the respondents to extend the lease period in favour of petitioner Society by collecting upset price/lease amount or such amount as may be fixed by the competent authorities in accordance with law and pass such other order or orders…” 2. This Court vide Order dated 06.07.2026 directed the respondent authorities to consider the representation made by the Writ Petitioner within a period of Three (03) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order. 3. Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, Sri Y.Nagi Reddy, learned counsel representing Sri G.Mallikarjuna Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that the representation made by the Writ Petitioner, was rejected by the respondent authorities on 15.07.2026, and he seeks permission of this Court, to SRK, J W.P.No.17019 of 2026 4 withdraw the Criminal Petition, with a permission to grant liberty to challenge the Rejection Order dated 15.07.2026. 4. Permission is accorded. 5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn, granting liberty to the Writ Petitioner to challenge the Rejection Order dated 15.07.2026. There shall be no order as to costs of the Writ Petition. As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous applications, if any, pending in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed. JUSTICE K.
