DATE : 07.09.2026 By this application, the petitioner is seeking an amendment to add the Principal, Rajarshi Shahu Institute of Management, Aurangabad as a necessary party and also seeks deletion of the respondent No.3 i.e. Savitribai Phule, Pune University Sub-Centre Nashik. 2. In view of the reasons mentioned in the application, amendment application is allowed. 3. Amendment be carried out forthwith. Writ Petition No.6466/2026 After amendment is carried out, issue notice to the newly added respondent No.3 i.e. Principal, Rajarshi Shahu Institute of Management, Aurangabad. The petitioner in the present petition, challenges the order passed by the Scheduled Tribe Caste Certificate Scrutiny Committee, Yavatmal invalidating the caste claim of the petitioner belonging to Halbi Scheduled Tribe. 3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, who submitted that the petitioner has obtained a caste certificate of Halbi Scheduled Tribe issued by the Sub- Divisional Officer, Umarkhed on 19.08.2020. The petitioner forwarded his caste claim to the respondent – Committee on 19.03.2022 along with the relevant documents. The petitioner has also filled in the CET application form and has now been allotted the newly added respondent No.3 – College namely Rajarshi Shahu Institute of Management, Aurangabad, on 02.08.2026, against the seat reserved for the Scheduled Tribe category for the MBA Course. Initially by order dated 20.08.2026, this Court has directed not to cancel the admission of the present petitioner. Now, the petitioner has comeup with the case that the earlier respondent No.3 was wrongly added infact the admission is sought in Rajarshi Shahu Institute of Management, Aurangabad and therefore, the directions are required to be given to the newly added respondent. In view of that and considering the fact that validity certificates have been granted to the other family members, we are of the considered opinion that interim prayer of the present petitioner deserves to be allowed and by way of interim direction, we direct respondent Nos.2 and newly added respondent No.3 to continue the admission of the petitioner till the decision of the present petition. The admission of the present petitioner shall be subject to the final outcome of this petition. The present petitioner shall not seek any equity on that ground. 5.
