The Petitioner was initially appointed as Junior Assistant on 07.10.1994 and thereafter, he was promoted as Senior Assistant on 15.07.2005 and posted in the office of the Superintending Engineer, NSJC, O & M, Lingamguntla, Narasaraopet, Palnadu District. The Petitioner is aspiring for further promotion to the post of Superintendent. While so, the Petitioner was informed that his name is removed from the seniority list of Senior Assistant. Hence, the present Writ Petition. 3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader submits that promotions to the post of Superintendent will be conducted in accordance with the rules, taking into account the length of service of the individuals in the cadre of Senior Assistant. 4. Heard the learned counsels. 3 5. Considering the submissions made, the grievance of the Petitioner is redressed. 6. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
