JUSTICE S.R.KRISHNA KUMAR ORAL ORDER In this petition, the petitioner has sought for the following reliefs: 1) “To issue of writ of mandamus directing the Respondents to settle and disburse their privilege leave encashment entitlement of the petitioners as on the date of their respective superannuation as per Annexure to their representation dated 09.02.2026 (received on 10.02.2026) vide Annexure-F along with interest at the rate of 18% per annum from the date of due. i.e. the date of superannuation and till the date of payment. 2) To issue such other writ, order or direction or to grant such other reliefs as deemed to fit under the facts and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice and equity". - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:21807 WP No. 8013 of 2026 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned counsel for the respondents and perused the material on record. 3. It is the grievance of the petitioners that their representation dated 09.02.2026 at Annexure-F submitted to the respondents has not been considered so far by them nor any order has been passed on the same. Under these circumstances, the petitioners are before this Court by way of the present petition. 4. Per contra, learned counsel for the respondents submits that if reasonable time is given, they would consider and pass necessary order on the said representation. 5. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances and rival submissions, the respondents are hereby directed to address the grievances of the petitioners and consider their representation dated 09.02.2026 at Annexure-F and pass appropriate order / take appropriate decision in accordance - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:21807 WP No. 8013 of 2026 with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.
