His grievance was redressed by allowing the petition in terms thereof which reads as under: “25. For all the reasons discussed supra, the FORUM is of the consideration opinion to pass the following order: In the result, (1) the grievance of the compliant is allowed and the assessment notices issued by R3 to the complainant in Ex.A5 is set aside. (2) The DISCOM authorities are hereby directed to issue revised assessment notice to the complainant for the period commencing from 05.08.2020 to 06.08.2022 in the place of Ex.A5, assessment notice, dated 12.08.2022. (3) The DISCOM authorities are directed to bill the service in appropriate category pertaining to the complainant without insisting for any application from the complainant. Each party does their own costs. A compliance report shall be submitted to the FORUM within 15 days from the date of receipt of the order. Accordingly, the C.G.No.125/2022 is disposed off. On 25.04.2023, on the request made on behalf of learned counsel for the petitioners, the matter was directed to be listed after Summer Vacation, 2023. 4 3. On 30.03.2026, none appeared for the parties. A Co-ordinate Bench passed the order that list the matter under the column „for dismissal‟. 4. On 04.05.2026, at request of learned counsel for the petitioners, the matter was adjourned to 15.06.2026 and it was deleted from the caption „for dismissal‟. 5. On 16.07.2026 at request of learned counsel for the petitioners, the matter was directed to be listed on 23.07.2026. 6. Today , there is no representation for the petitioners. 7. The aforesaid orders, reflect that the petitioners are not showing interest in prosecuting the writ petition. 8. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed for “want of prosecution”. No order as to costs.
