Both the Petitioners namely, Bidulata Nayak and Sweety Nayak are present in person before this Court. 3. The writ petition is directed against order dated 2nd March 2026 of 1st M.A.C.T., Cuttack passed in MAC No.842 of 2017, wherein the prayer for premature release of fixed deposit amount kept in the names of the Petitioners was partly allowed. 4. As per the direction dated 12th November 2024 passed in MAC No.842 of 2017 an amount of Rs.11,61,992/- and 4,35,747/- were kept in fixed deposit in the name of the mother and daughter respectively in Bank of Maharastra, Bajrakabati Road Branch, Cuttack in fixed deposit. It is submitted on behalf of the Petitioners that the marriage of the daughter (Petitioner No.2) is scheduled to 23rd June 2026 for which a substantial amount is required. Accordingly, they have prayed for release of the amount kept in their fixed deposit. The learned 1st MACT has directed for release of Rs.1,00,000/- from the account of the mother and Rs.2,00,000/- from the account of the daughter and in the opinion of the Petitioners such amount would be quite insufficient to meet the expenses of marriage. 6. Being asked, both Petitioners submit that further sum of Rs.8,00,000/- would suffice the purpose of marriage expenses. 7. Upon hearing learned counsel for the Petitioners as well as the Petitioners in person, it is directed that entire amount kept in fixed deposit in the name of the daughter (Sweety Nayak) be released in her favour and further, an amount of Rs.5,00,000/- be released in favour of the mother (Bidulata Nayak) from the amount kept in fixed deposit in her name. The balance amount kept in the name of the mother be accordingly retained in fixed deposit for remaining period. 8. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. 9.
