02/ 18.04.2026: Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned counsel for the State.
2. The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in connection with Pathargama P.S. Case No. 06 of 2026, registered under sections 115(2), 126(2), 127(2), 109/3(5) of BNS, 2023, pending in the Court of learned S.D.J.M, Godda.

Learned counsel for the petitioners by referring Annexure-2 submits that petitioners were also assaulted by the informant for that the petitioners submitted written report before the Officer-in-Charge, Pathargama Police Station but the F.I.R has not been registered however written report submitted by the informant has been registered as F.I.R against the petitioners. He further submits that petitioner no. 2 is wife of petitioner no.1. By way of referring annexure-4, he submits that petitioner no.2 has received injury for that she has been treated. On these grounds, he submits that the petitioner may kindly be provided privilege of anticipatory bail.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer and submits that allegation of assault is there and informant has received injury.
5. Annexure-2 is the document which suggests that petitioners also submitted written report before the Officer-in-Charge, Pathargama Police Station but the F.I.R has not been registered and petitioners have got no

criminal antecedent which is disclosed in para 19 of the petition and in that view of the matter, the petitioners are directed to surrender before the learned court within two weeks from today and the learned court shall release the petitioners on terms and conditions and sureties as learned court deems fit and proper.
6. This anticipatory bail application is disposed of.
