The petitioner has filed this petition seeking the following reliefs:- “10.1. That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the Respondents to decide the pending NIRMALA RAO 2 representation of the petitioner with in stipulated time frame and grant the benefit of his past service, seniority and other consequential benefits including arrears of difference amount w.e.f. dated 12/11/2012, since admissible under rules, so that the petitioner could not be made sufferer for the delay and latches on the part of respondents. 10.2. That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities, that since his resignation was technical resignation, therefore grant entire benefits for which petitioner is entitle to get as per rules made in this regard. 10.3 That, the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to call for entire records relevant to petitioner's claim for kind perusal of this Hon'ble Court. 10.4 This Hon'ble court may kindly be pleased to direct the Respondents to provide the cost of the petition and other expenses suffered by the petitioner with compensation for undue suffering. 10.5 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to pass any other order which the petitioner is entitled and the Hon'ble Court may deem it fit in favour of the petitioner.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that initially the petitioner was appointed on the post of Assistant Development Extension Officer and subsequently, he applied for the post of Assistant Professor (Geography). He would submit that the petitioner was appointed to the latter post on 5.7.2019. He would submit that a technical resignation was tendered by the petitioner from the post of Assistant Development Extension Officer, which was accepted by the respondent authorities on 8.7.2019. He would submit that though the 3 respondent authorities accepted resignation, the benefit of past service has not been extended despite repeated representations. He would submit that a direction to the respondent authorities to decide the pending representation dated 22.3.2021. 3. On the other hand, learned counsel for the respondents would oppose. 4. Heard. 5. Taking into consideration the limited prayer made by counsel for the petitioner, this petition, at this juncture, is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to decide the pending representation dated 22.3.2021 in light of circular dated 3.8.2018 (Annexure-P/5), expeditiously and preferably within a period of 150 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.
