The petitioner seeks for issuance of patta in his name for the said property. The petitioner had given representations on 01.11.2025, 09.11.2025 and 17.11.2025 to respondents 2 and 3 requesting them to issue patta in his favour. Since the same have not been considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition. 3.Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. 4.No prejudice would be caused to third respondent if the petitioner’s representations as stated supra, are considered, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections of the neighbouring land owners or any other https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 3878 of 2026 third party, if any, whom the third respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 5.This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner’s representations seeking for issuance of patta. 6.Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the third respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representations seeking for issuance of patta for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, after hearing the objections of the neighbouring land owners or any other third party, if any, whom the third respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
