The contempt petitioner alleges that the respondents has committed contempt of this Court’s order dated 21.04.2026, passed in WPSS No.1607 of 2024, Dashrath Singh Rawat Vs. Union of India and others, whereby the order impugned in the writ petition dated 02.08.2024, passed by Joint Director D(HMI) was set aside and the Joint Director was asked to revisit the issue and pass appropriate order, as per law, within eight weeks from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order dated 21.04.2026. 5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that instead of passing a fresh order, as per law, the respondent- contemnor no.1 though revisited the issue, involved in the present writ petition, but reiterated the order dated 02.08.2024 valid. 6. It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that when the order dated 02.08.2024 was already set aside by this Court, how the same can remain valid. 7. Instead of reiterating the same order and terming it as 2 valid the respondent-contemnor should have passed a fresh order after reconsideration of the matter. 8. Learned counsel for the respondent submits that the Competent Authority shall pass a fresh order. 9. In such view of the matter, contempt petition stands disposed of. It is provided that Competent Authority shall pass a fresh order within a period of three weeks’ from today. 10.
