Ajay Mohan Goel, Judge (Oral) By way of this petition, the petitioner has assailed order dated 05.02.2025 (Annexure P-7), in terms whereof, he was transferred from Electrical Division, Chamba to Shimla. The petitioner was serving at Chamba since March, 2022. 2. Learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner informed the Court that the petitioner is already serving at Shimla for the last one year. Learned Senior Counsel, thus submitted that in light of the fact that the prayer of the petitioner to be adjusted was on medical ground and before his transfer to Chamba, the petitioner had otherwise served in Shimla for a period of eight years, the respondents be directed to sympathetically consider the prayer of the petitioner for transfer to Chamba, more so in light of the fact that 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 2026:HHC:6863 there are other incumbents at Chamba, who are posted there for more than a decade. 3. In the backdrop of what has been submitted by the learned Senior Counsel, and if indeed, there are medical issues as far as the petitioner is concerned, on a fresh representation to be made by the petitioner within two weeks from today, let an appropriate call be taken thereupon within three weeks as from the date of receipt thereof after providing an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner. In case, indeed there are incumbents with a long stay at Chamba, then the adjustment of the petitioner be considered by the Authority concerned, keeping into consideration this aspect of the matter also. 4.
